    NFL Greats...

Who was or who is the best QB of all time?

Stats don't mean a thing to me, it's all about wins and rings...
My vote goes to Troy Aikman

My vote goes to Tom Brady.

But you cannot ignore Terry Bradshaw, Joe Montana, John Elway or Troy Aikman either.

It is hard to fail, but it is worse never to have tried to succeed.

    Re: NFL Greats...

The thread is NFL Greats so I am going with not who played the longest, but you had to at least be in the league. With that said, my vote goes to:

RYAN LEAF! His last year at Washington State was a good one!

HAHA.......Aikman and Bradshaw get my bote as Co-# 1's. With Brady making it a trio once he retires (by then he might be the only #1)

    Re: NFL Greats...

If you look at the record books: Dan Marino
If you look at success: Joe Montana

    One name says it all.

It starts with J and ends with ohn Elway.

I believe I am going to go with Joe Montana in the past but when all is said and done in his career Peyton Manning will be the greatest QB ever to suit up.

Tom Brady is a great QB and will be one of the best of all time. But Aikman is the best of all time.

    Re: NFL Greats...

Dan Marino if going by numbers. I think that Manning will eventually break most of his records tho.
Going by wins id have to say Montana or Brady.
Just going to throw another name out there Brett Favre. He has had a lot of success and has played in like 220 straight games.

    Re: NFL Greats...

Elway hands down. He may not have had the success or records others had, but he had as much, if not more, heart and determination as anybody else. But I guess being a Denver fan makes me a bit biased.
